Spiderdance's founders recognized the opportunity created by the convergence of television programming with the Internet. Building upon their decade of experience deploying cutting edge interactive technologies, they envisioned the Spiderdance TruSync system, a massive iTV architecture that would frame-accurately synchronize cross-platform online entertainment to television broadcasts.

Soon after developing the TruSync technology, Spiderdance partnered with MTV and made television history with the launch of webRIOT. This MTV original game show became a national sensation, breaking ground for interactive TV and setting the bar for all subsequent convergence programming. With tens of millions of games served over two seasons, webRIOT became the first of many hit interactive programs launched using TruSync technology, as well as the first television program ever designed from the ground up to be completely interactive.

Spiderdance has since gone on to release numerous other successful Interactive television shows, including Weakest Link for NBC, No Boundaries for The WB, History IQ for The History Channel, Cyber Bond for TBS, and Inquizition for GSN.
